The story of Titan
Titan opened at Space World on 5 March 1994, bringing an Arrow Dynamics Hyper Coaster to Kitakyushu. Its great steel structure was built for a broad, fast course rather than a succession of inversions. coasterpedia.net· geo.d51498.com
The ride rose 56.41 metres and reached 115 kilometres per hour. For visitors approaching through the park, its sweeping structure announced an engineering undertaking of considerable scale. geo.d51498.com· atpress.ne.jp
For the 2015 season, the original Arrow trains were replaced with new trains supplied by S&S Worldwide. The ride was subsequently presented as Titan MAX, while its principal character remained the long steel run across the park. coasterpedia.net· atpress.ne.jp
Titan closed on 31 December 2017 when Space World itself closed. The park had announced in December 2016 that it would cease operations at the end of 2017, bringing Titan’s years of service to an end with the rest of the park. coasterpedia.net· cinematoday.jp
