1. Who we are
Aethus Ltd ("we", "us"), registered in England, operates THOOZIE. Contact us at lmoshea@me.com.
2. Your account
You need an account to play. Accounts are personal and non-transferable. Under-13s may not hold an account. Under-18 accounts require parental consent to spend, default to £0 spend, and are subject to age-verification checks that, while operated in good faith, are not infallible.
You're responsible for keeping your account secure. Tell us promptly if you think it's been compromised.
3. Virtual items are licensed, not owned
Cards, coins, cosmetics and any other in-game item are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use within THOOZIE. You do not own them as property, they carry no real-world monetary value, and the licence ends if your account is closed or terms are breached. Coins and cards cannot be cashed out, converted to real money or transferred outside the game. Real-money trading of any kind is prohibited and enforced by account action.
4. Purchases
Prices are shown in GBP inclusive of any applicable tax. Payment is processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details. Pull rates and pity rules for randomised packs are published at /odds and apply as described at time of purchase.
Digital content is delivered immediately on purchase. By completing a purchase you expressly request immediate delivery and acknowledge that this waives the standard 14-day withdrawal right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, to the extent that right applies to instantly-delivered digital content. Nothing here affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — if a purchase is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, you're entitled to repair, replacement, price reduction or a refund as set out in that Act.
5. Your content (photo submissions & UGC)
If you submit a photo, board title, or other content, you confirm you own it or have permission to share it, and you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and adapt it within THOOZIE and its marketing, with credit given where the format allows. You can request removal; we'll action it within a reasonable period, generally within 48 hours for rights-related takedowns.
6. Conduct
No cheating, no exploiting bugs for economy advantage, no harassment, no real-money trading, no impersonating park or manufacturer staff. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, with a right of appeal.
7. Fair use of ride names and stats
Ride names and statistics appear for identification and factual reference. THOOZIE is unofficial and not endorsed by, affiliated with, or sponsored by any park or manufacturer named on a card — every card says so.
8. Changes
We may update these terms as the game evolves. Material changes will be flagged in-game before they take effect.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
