The story of Yukon Striker

Canada's Wonderland made Yukon Striker the centrepiece of its new Frontier Canada area, bringing the park its first dive coaster and a new steel landmark to Vaughan. globenewswire.com

The ride was designed by Bolliger & Mabillard. Its foundations and underwater tunnel were developed with Secant Engineers, while heavy steel sections were lifted into place by crane within the operating park. canada.constructconnect.com

When Yukon Striker opened on 3 May 2019, its floorless trains, underwater passage and four inversions made it a notable new chapter in the park's long collection of steel coasters. attractionsmanagement.com· sixflags.com

The finished structure changed the park skyline, and the Canadian steelwork was completed safely and on time despite difficult winter conditions. cisc-icca.ca
