The story of The DareDeviler

The ride opened at Canada's Wonderland on May 7, 1995, in the Grande World Expo section. Its steel inverted form was supplied by Dutch manufacturer Vekoma. coasterpedia.net

Following a change in the park's ownership, the coaster was renamed Flight Deck in 2008, continuing its long service above the fairways of Vaughan. coasterpedia.net

For the 2026 season, Canada's Wonderland gave the old coaster new trains and targeted track refinements, preparing it for a renewed career under the name The DareDeviler. sixflags.com· amusementtoday.com

The DareDeviler reopened on July 23, 2026, bringing a familiar Vekoma structure back to the park with a newly appointed identity and improved riding position. coasterpedia.net· sixflags.com
