The story of Ultra Twister

TOGO’s Pipeline Coaster places its single-car train between the rails, giving the machine an unusual profile from the station and along the lift. Ultra Twister was installed at Nagashima Spa Land and opened in 1989. coasterpedia.net· en.wikipedia.org

The ride’s ascent is made vertically by chain lift. From there, the course proceeds through a hill and three heartline rolls before returning to the station, a compact arrangement of steel engineering in the Nagashima landscape. coasterpedia.net

In 2012, Ultra Twister was moved north within the park, to a position near Steel Dragon 2000. Its former ground was later used for a children’s area. coasterpedia.net

The attraction remains listed by Nagashima Spa Land, where its operating status is published alongside the park’s other rides. It stands as one of the surviving TOGO Ultratwister installations. nagashima-onsen.co.jp· en.wikipedia.org
