The story of The Raven
The Raven opened at Holiday World in 1995, bringing a substantial wooden coaster to the park’s Halloween section in Santa Claus, Indiana. holidayworld.com· holidayworld.com
Its designers fitted the course closely to the wooded hillside, allowing the train to plunge through a dark tunnel, skim Lake Rudolph, and return through a final double-banked S curve. The curve was shaped to preserve a row of trees. holidayworld.com
