The story of The Voyage
Holiday World announced The Voyage in July 2005 as the great wooden centerpiece of its new Thanksgiving section, prepared for the park’s sixtieth anniversary season. The ride was shaped by The Gravity Group with Will Koch, and Holiday World describes it as a wooden out-and-back coaster on a steel structure. A wooden coaster remains a living piece of carpentry, and Holiday World has continued to tend The Voyage in the off-season.
