The story of Hidden Anaconda

Hidden Anaconda arrived with Happy Valley Wuhan’s opening group of roller coasters in 2012, when the park established the Happy Valley chain’s fifth Chinese outpost in Hongshan, Wuhan. coasterpedia.net

Maurer had secured the Wuhan order in 2010 and worked with the park’s directors on a SkyLoop intended to offer a substantial ride in a relatively modest footprint. The Wuhan project was announced among the park’s planned attractions before its 2012 opening. yumpu.com

The finished ride belongs to Maurer’s compact SkyLoop family: a vertical chain lift, a turn into the inverted position, and a descent through the signature two-inversion course. coasterpedia.net· yumpu.com

In the park’s present coaster listing, Hidden Anaconda is still recorded as operating, preserving Maurer’s tall steel landmark on the Wuhan skyline. coasterpedia.net
