The story of Crush's Coaster
Crush’s Coaster opened on 9 June 2007 as part of the first major expansion of the park’s Toon Studio area. It arrived alongside another new attraction and helped turn the former Animation Courtyard into a fuller studio district for visitors. d23.com· dlpguide.com
The project brought Walt Disney Imagineering together with German manufacturer Maurer Söhne for the first time. The engineers adapted the compact Xtended SC-2000 arrangement, adding an enclosed scenic section and a longer, continuously moving station to suit the Paris installation. dlpguide.com· coasterpedia.net
From its first season, the attraction drew remarkably long queues and quickly became one of the park’s most frequently visited rides. Its free-spinning cars ensure that each passage through the dark course may turn in a different fashion, an ingenious touch in a compact steel installation. fans.disneylandparis.com· dlpguide.com
